BMW plans to overhaul the engine for a luxury sedan of BMW 7-Series. The goal is to increase the power output but also reduce emissions. And the result is a luxurious and elegant sedan with eco-friendly performance, the new 2013 BMW 7 ActiveHybrid.

2013 BMW 7 ActiveHybrid powered by a gasoline V8 engine with hybrid electric touches such as those found in the BMW ActiveHybrid 5. The ActiveHybrid 7 while returning about 17/24 mpg city / highway, according to the EPA, which is only slightly better than the ranking city / highway 15/22 mpg of the regular 750i. For comparison, the ActiveHybrid 5 is expected to return around 25/35 mpg city / highway, though it must be admitted that weighs less than 7-Series partner.
